Coast Guard Funding, Spectrum Auction Detailed in Senate Commerce Panel’s Budget Bill Section

The proposed section will earn $25 billion to the Coast Guard and $12.5 billion to the FAA, and will earn money by auctioning off unused spectra.

WASHINGTON – Air travel, artificial intelligence, the spectral internet, and the US Coast Guard funding and policy changes were detailed on June 5th in the Senate Commerce Committee’s proposal section of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
One big beautiful bill law is the budget law being considered by both chambers of Congress as a way to fund the Trump administration’s policy initiatives. The measure passed the House of Representatives on May 22 with just one vote.
