When is the Crimson Dessert Release Date? First unveiled in 2019, Crimson Dessert is a story-driven adventure from the team behind Black Dessert MMORPG. Four years after the initial release, following an indefinite delay in July 2021, the Crimson Dessert Release Date still has a significant wait. The developer quoted, “We need to dedicate more time to add new ideas for a deeper, richer game.”

It turns out that the enrichment process involves nibbling a dog, carrying sheep on the shoulder, and fighting giant crabs in a magical action adventure game. So, what more can you ask for? So far, based on gameplay footage of the Crimson Desert, it looks as if nature and animals play a major role in the world of Piwell. At first glance, the area looks like an ancient medieval continent, but soon becomes clear to its fullness with magic and mystery. This is everything we know so far about Pywel and the Crimson Desert Release Date window.

Crimson Dessert Release Date Window

The Crimson Dessert Release Date was confirmed in late 2025. The release date window was revealed during the trailer for Game Awards 2024.

This is slightly behind the release date window proposed for the second quarter of 2025, as shared in an interview with Insightkorea. It is important to note that the interview was with Kim Jingo, a researcher at Kium Securities, not with staff at Pearl Abyss. Therefore, this may have been related to information changes.

The trailer makes the bloody battles of Paimel’s Region and Crimson Desert look like a movie, but it also shows in-game combat. You will also see some of the game’s crossing elements as you watch the player climb onto the thin cliff face and enter the hidden area. So there seems to be a lot to do in an RPG. The story and setting of the crimson desert

The Crimson Desert takes place in the war-torn medieval realms of Piwell, divided into many regions, each with its own class of people fighting to survive the harsh reality. The King of Piwell became ill, lied to his coma, left the people of the land to seek independence, and built his own strength in the confusion that followed. You must rise above and become a respected mercenary. Look for other fighters throughout the land to help keep the most despicable and power-hungry enemies in their place.

Outside of this realistic, archaic world, it appears to be far more extraordinary as the Crimson dessert site posts state that “the story is told from a distant world, perhaps even a world that still exists.” Given some of the gameplay clips you’ll solve below, it seems to reveal that this new world is part of your crimson desert story.

Crimson Dessert Game Play

As discussed in the Pearl Abyss news post, combat is pushed as the most important part of Crimson Desert, focusing on weapons. Given the balance between crimson desert magic and medieval eras, a mixture of weapons can form habits, from swords and hand axes to guns and cannons.

Crimson Dessert can be played in single-player or multiplayer. You can recruit others, join the adventurer’s band and take part in a journey to get the wrong in your territory right. Either way, events unfold as you make your decision, and everything you do will directly affect how your story works.

There were some mixed feelings at the December 2024 Crimson Desert Preview, but in the end I felt positive. Between “over-the-top, overstuffed” combat and “gorgeous visuals,” Pearl Abyss’ ambitions seem to bear fruit.

Crimson desert trailer

Starting in the middle of a fierce battle, the official Crimson Dessert reveals the trailer. However, the trailer changes the tone quickly, as soothing sunsets and snowy scenery suggest another part of the game. That’s nature itself. While much of your story involves fighting enemies, you can assume that the majority is spent exploring Pywel as it changes throughout the seasons. Judging by what you saw in the trailer, expect to encounter plenty of peaceful streams, jagged rocks and crucibles of wildlife.

When it comes to wildlife, lowlands, power-hungry elites, and other humanoids, they are not the only enemies. The world of Crimson Dessert is filled with deadly creatures, from dragons to giant sea snakes and tentacled ocean monsters.

Released at the 2020 Game Awards, the world premier gameplay trailer gives you a good look at Pywel’s vast and beautiful world. The stunning views are brought to life by dynamic lighting and realistic oceans, offering a glimpse of the coastal villages, looming castle towns and snow log cabins that house the residents of Paiwell. From the deserts to the snowy mountains, your journey seems to stretch to every corner of the world.

Gameplay trailer has been revealed at Gamescom 2023. This is the most detailed view of Crimson desserts. You can see Pywel’s beautiful environment and many combat gameplay, but you can also get the first major glimpse into how much magic plays a role in this world. At the 1:40 mark, the player’s character will spread over the wall and stand in front of a hidden door, leading to a mysterious bridge between the world. From what we can see, I think these doors lead to different domains filled with puzzles and quests.

In Grace Forest, you can see the sparkling blue constellations that appear to control the stone door, while the Grace Domain sees the player expanding the wall. The nameless place looks more futuristic than anything else we’ve seen in Pywel, with platforms of mysterious sculptures and sparkling light.

The official Crimson Desert YouTube page has uploaded several boss fights for viewing, including the ones above. The crab boss battle in Queen Stoneback is roughly the same as how you imagine it. A giant crab made of stone. Showing out the dynamic combat system of Crimson Dessert, you’re tasked with climbing up the crab and finding weaknesses to strike. The giant shadow is very cool.

Do you want to cute dogs in the Crimson Desert: Cliff keeps his dog, with donkeys watching over him.

Can you pet your dog at Crimson Dessert?

You can pet your dog and snuggle your cat, so who knows who can play other adorable pets in the Crimson Desert? In the Gamescom trailer, you can see the player’s character stroking the dog, just as the donkey looks like it’s vy hopeful. Also, the character picks up the cat, and uh, Prince around the wolf fur coat. By showing these interactions in the trailer, Pearl Abyss clearly knows how important it is for gamers to be able to dude their dogs.
