Crows will call for a snap meeting of EU foreign ministers in Ukraine on Monday

EU diplomat Kahakaras said on Sunday that the deal between the US and Russia would involve Ukraine and the EU and should convene a meeting of foreign ministers on Monday to discuss the next steps.

“The US has the authority to force Russia to seriously negotiate. The deal between the US and Russia must include Ukraine and the EU. That’s a matter of security in Ukraine and Europe,” Karas said.

The meeting is scheduled to be held essentially on Monday afternoon, with Karasu saying the minister will consider developing the Middle East and Gaza.

Crows said international law was “clear: all temporarily occupied territory belongs to Ukraine,” warning that negotiated settlements should not set the stage for further attacks on Ukraine, the Transatlantic Alliance or Europe.

Zelenskyy warns that negotiations to end the war in Ukraine must include Kyiv.

“The decision without Ukraine is at the same time a decision on peace. They will not bring anything. These are dead decisions. They will never work,” he said.

On Sunday, EU leaders repeatedly reiterated that “the path to peace in Ukraine cannot be determined without Ukraine.”

The statement also said that “borders should not be forced to change.” I add that the current frontline should be a “starting point for negotiations.”

The Russian ceasefire proposal proposes replacing Donetsk and Luhansk’s Ukrainian territory with a complete ceasefire.

Ukrainian and European officials reportedly responded to Russia’s ceasefire proposal with a counter-proposition.

The proposal was presented to US Vice President J.D. V. D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Ukrainian envoy Keith Kellogg and Steve Witkov.
