‘DAU’ director Ilya Khrzhanovskiy to receive Sarajevo Film Festival tribute

Ilya Khrzhanovskiy, a controversial director Dow Immersive Art Projects and Films will become special guest at age 31st Sarajevo Film Festival.

The festival will screen a retrospective of his films as part of the “Homage” program.

A Russian-born film director, Khrzhanovskiy is the artistic director of Kyiv’s Babi Yar Holocaust Memorial Center, Eastern Europe’s largest Holocaust research and memorial center.

His long-standing Dow The project was made from 700 hours of footage, from which 14 feature films, three television series, video performances and science films were created.

The festival selected 63 participants out of 19 peopleth Talent version of Sarajevo training program. The program is divided into eight labs, including the acting studio, the Director Summit and the Producer Summit.

Mentors for the program include Croatian actor Golanbogdan from the actor studio. And former head of Israel Film Fund Cattoriel Shorey is the producer summit.

The festival will be held from August 15th to 22nd.
