A small number of Democratic candidates are aiming to win a special election in a congressional district along the US border with Mexico, and are aiming to take over the late Congressman Raul Grialba (D-Ariz.).
The 7th Congressional District will hold a special primary election on July 15th, with the winners facing off against the general election on September 23rd. Given the large democratic district, the winner of the primary contest will support winning the general election on September 23rd.
