Democrats signal plans to place one big beautiful bill law approved by President Donald Trump as a central focus for their push to reclaim the mid-term House of Representatives in 2026.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), the party’s House Campaign Division, said in a July 1 memo it would highlight what the political message leading up to the 2026 election would be highlighted as the harmful effects of what the DCCC calls the “big and ugly bill.”
