Top House Democrats have raised concerns after the postponement of a classified security briefing on a recent US-backed strike in Iran, and what they say is to delay the opportunities needed to assess the US government’s actions in Iran and assess the situation in the Middle East.
Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) said on June 24 that the White House confirmed the briefing will take place on June 27th. The session is expected to include the development of senior administration officials and covers involving Israel and Iran after recent weeks of escalation and the US attacks over the weekend.
