Diddy’s “White Party” from 1998 to 2009 attracted countless A-listers.
One of the most recognizable names in hip hop is Sean “Diddy” comb, Once known as P. Diddy, he founded a star-studded network throughout Hollywood. In 1998, taking advantage of all the connections, the rapper began hosting the famous gorgeous white party. Notable for an all-white dress code, Didi’s soirée demanded that guests wear white. Interviewed in 2006 Oprah WinfreyDiddy explained that the purpose is to “remove everyone’s images and put all of us on the same level of the same colour.”
The event was originally held in the Hamptons and lasted until 2009. Diddy is currently in custody in New York on federal charges of sex trafficking and assault and faces numerous civil lawsuits alleging various forms of abuse.
