Disney was leaning towards a 100-year brand heritage in its Cineuro Peslate presentation on Wednesday afternoon (June 18) with an array of titles offering “magic, wonder, joy” in the words of Andrew Cripps, the director of the play.
The distribution boss also placed presentations in the context of “infusional experiences” that “leave imagination into life.”
There are new titles for all seven Disney brands, including Disney, Pixar, Walt Disney Studio Animation, Marvel, 20th Century Studios, Lucasfilm, and Searchlight photos. The studio offers films that say “Normal 12 Months Cadence” and “Longer on the big screen, Longer than competitors.”
Disney traditionally occupies the Wednesday afternoon slot at Cineulope, the last of Big Five US studios to present to assembled cinema operators in Barcelona.
Colleagues Nick Rush, Emea, Lee Ju’s Nick Rush, Head of Studio Marketing, EMEA and Rebecca Caray, Business Operations and International Marketing, Searchlight, Crips trumpeted some of Disney’s recent achievements.
Last year, only three films earned more than $1 billion at the global box office. Inside Out 2, Deadpool & Wolverine and Moana 2.
Crips urged the assembled operators to “match trailing” with Disney, adding, “Let’s get together.”
It was Pixar up to the bat first. Erio Another original story continues, hopper. In the filmed segment, Pixar’s Chief Creative Officer Pete Dotter spoke about an expanding view of high concepts hoppersees a young environmental activist “hop” into the beaver’s body. This segment ended with a sequence of films offering “a large dose of adorable amount” in the words of the ju-deciding judges.
Next summer, Toy Story 5 Continue Pixar’s most beloved franchise. Disney performed the opening sequence of the film in animations other than the final.
Disney’s live action division introduced the franchise’s properties FREEKY Friday and Tron: Ares. For the former, co-stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan were featured not only in film scenes but also in filmed greetings. Nisha Ganatra will direct it.
Tron: Ares The segment featured footage featuring messages from coach Joachim Ronning, as well as scores from Nine Inch Nails Trent Rezner and Atticus Ross. This is a “100% designed for the big screen” film, ju-described.
Marvel Slate’s presentation was featured in a greeting from Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios. Fantastic 4: The First Step and Avengers: The Endcombining the dizziness of cast members, mainly drawn from Marvel. the avengers, X-Men, Thunderbolts* and Black Panther Franchise. Brothers Matt Shakman and Russo each direct these new Marvel titles.
The Walt Disney Animation Studio segment began with dancing animals – from this case Zootropolis 2 alias Zootopia 2. Dancing is the theme of a family film released this year at Cineeurope, with marketers looking to leverage sequences for meme-friendly content. Disney showed two sequences of the film.
From Lucasfilm The Mandalorian and the Grog This is the first big screen outing for the Disney+ series characters, offering “larger scale” and “wideer adventures.” Directed by John Favreau, Pedro Pascal will star alongside Sigourney Weaver and Jeremy Allen White.
Searchlight & 20th century studio
Searchlight’s Kearey introduced two titles for Bradley Cooper’s Is this on? Martin McDonna’s Easter Island Set Wild Horse Nine – Before introducing three more videos and sequences.
Ready: Come here From Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett of Radio Silence, it offers a more murderous mayhem following the original 2019 film.
