DOJ Asks Judges to Unseal 5 Days of Epstein and Maxwell Grand Jury Testimony

The Department of Justice (DOJ) requested a transcription of testimony from convicted sex traffickers Jeffrey Epstein and Gisleine Maxwell’s grand ju court.

Attorney General Pam Bondy of the Southern District of New York and U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton wrote on August 4th to district judges for the area of Richard Berman and Paul Engelmeyer, asking the records to be sealed. DOJ officials want to compare the Great Jue to “exhibitions against the vast public and sealed exhibits offered at the Maxwell Trial.”
