Erin Westerman confirmed as president of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group

Erin Westerman, as expected, was appointed president of Lionsgate Film Group, taking over from Nathan Kahane.

Westerman oversees all aspects of Lionsgate theatrical slate development, production and physical production, and reports to Adam Fogelson of Lionsgate’s Film Group Chair.

News that Kahane would leave Lionsgate by the end of the year, when his contract expired, was reported in May. He is currently moving to a production contract with the company.
