Federal Judge Upholds Order Directing US Government Not to Cut Off Planned Parenthood Funding

A federal judge on July 11 was on her own order to block federal laws withholding Medicaid refunds from parents planning Medicaid refunds after the Trump administration urged her to cancel it.

The court previously suspended the provisions of the so-called one big beautiful bill law that would stop Plannard Parent-Child Clinics from accepting Medicaid payments for a year. Planned Parenthood is well known for providing abortions, but its associated clinics also offer services such as birth control and pregnancy tests to Medicaid recipients.
