What is cooking in the Fish Lobster Travel Update? As the biggest fish update from the Second Sea, the Fish Lob Start Rip Update introduces a new way to induce spooky crustaceans and other deep sea creatures. I put a new rod down for a while and instead embark on a boat trip with a cage, trap and net.

What’s new in Fisch Lobster Update?
The Fisch Lobster Trip Update introduces a new Trawler-style boat with a new type of trap for catching crustaceans in the ocean. Consult with the new Lobster Shores Island utility boat NPC to buy supplies and boats.
Take a boat and take a spot marked, unfold the trap from the list and stroll around until the countdown on the cage is complete. The wooden frame has the same luck and weight statistics as the rod, so the type of creature you want to catch must be procured and used. You can fish as usual while these traps do their job.
Once you’re ready to entangle the cage, you need to complete a mini-game involving pressing a button when the rotating dial meets a large zone of circles.
How do I get a utility boat with Fish Lobster Update?
You cannot fish for lobsters without a utility boat. These can be purchased from Utility Boat NPCs at Lobster Shores in the First Sea or from other new islands in the Second Sea, or from typical shipyards.
Consult your NPC, click to view the boat as normal. Click the “View Utility Boat” button at the bottom to purchase a utility boat and lay its window.
Each size of the boat can accept a large cage available next to the utility boat NPC.
The available utility boats are:

Where can I get the updates for Fish Lobster Travel?
You can purchase a new type of fishing tool, net, from the new island in the Second Sea.
In case you miss it, you can enter the second sea from level 50 to level 50 as long as you complete a short quest and boss battle. This is down from the level 250, when it was first released.
What are the new weather effects of Fish Lobster Updates?
New weather effects such as rainbows and tornados will affect your fishing adventures from now on. Expect these events, new rods and charms that can enhance their effectiveness, and totems that can be purchased to enforce these rare weather types.
Where are the new lobster fishing holes?
Lobster fishing holes are available in both the first and second seas. Here are some spots I’ve found so far:
- Langchin – Near Moosewood
- Rock Lobster – Near Terrapin
- Roslit Ray Robster – Near Roslitrei
- Thorny Sunstone Lobster – Near Sunstone Island
- Snow Cap Lobster – Near Snowcap Island

The following four new rods have been dropped for the Fisch Lobster Trip Update:
