Exclusive: Executive Davelead, former Element Pictures and Warner Bros Arish, has launched Beach Pictures, an Irish-UK distribution venture.
The company aims to provide a curated commercial approach to connecting global content with local audiences, with a focus on animation, independent films, non-English language films and strategic acquisitions.
Beach Pictures also offers bespoke services for international sales agents seeking local market expertise, distributed in Ireland on behalf of international studios and distributors. The company will announce the first slate of the project later this year.
“The photography of the beach came from a desire to bring commercial, bold and distinctive films to the forefront for our audiences and a commitment to presenting these stories on the big screen,” Reid said.
Reed was the sales manager for Element Pictures from 2018-25 and took on the role of theater sales manager for 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros.
