The Bucks have finally got their season back on track with four wins in the last five innings.

Back on track and the Bucks

After winning the season opener against the season, Milwaukee lost the next six consecutive NBA games after the first month of 2024, leaving the team in a miserable place.

The mood around the Bucks wasn’t good in October, and after a 2-8 start there was clearly tension in the locker room.

But at last they were on the verge of things, with Giannis Antetocomo leading the team to four wins in their final five games, including a victory against Chicago on Wednesday night.

After Giannis won two consecutive times, Giannis spoke to the media about finishing a poor run in form.

“There are still a lot of games. There are 67 games left. We’re heading in the right direction. We win at home. That’s not bad. At the end of the day, there’s a lot of seasons left.

“It was a scary feeling to lose five or six in a row. It felt like I lost 20 in a row. I don’t want to go back there.”

Giannis is currently leading the league in scoring with 32.1 points per game, adding another 41 points in just 35 minutes on Wednesday.

Despite having a bad start to 2024, the Bucks still remain unbeaten in the NBA Cup, facing Pacer in the second round on Friday night, already beating the Raptor.
