In my opinion, all the best fantasy games come from folk tales and fairy tales. Elf Rock It doesn’t seem to be an exception. Inspired by Hungarian folklore and medieval European traditions, a world is called to save their homeland after foreign empires threaten war.
Developed by the indie team Novas Ferra Studio, Elf Rock is set to be a complicated fairy tale, set to ruin the story of the branch that will eventually end with the victory of this princess’ hometown, or to ruin it if it makes the wrong decision.
Like most RPGs, every choice you make will result. And you need to step carefully between trust and betrayal as you navigate the royal political maze and try to resolve the simmering conflict that threatens your home. Your soldiers grow tired from the efforts of war, and the magic fades as the battle continues.
But not everything is blending realistic and fantastical, as it can be seen in this mysterious and dangerous world. Investigate the castle, your home, solve puzzles and develop relationships with the people who live in that secret hall. Do not turn the stones over when you gather evidence in your bid to help your father, the king, and save the realm. Oh, and I mentioned, can you pet the dog?
If that wasn’t enough to convince you that this is a title to watch, then Elf Rock would be fully expressed in Hungarian. Novasphera Studio has announced that it will work with Szinkronsarok and its voice actors to record the game in Hungarian with English subtitles. The studio is currently fundraising for recordings. Elf Rock appears to have all the fairy tales and fantastic goodness that makes the Witcher game so great.
