Exclusive: Highland Film Group has locked major international deals in all media for its crime thriller Delegate Duke Nicholson, William H. Macy, Tiffany Haddish, Stephen Dorff and Julia Fox will be starring in Cannes.
Director Matt Sukkul is preparing to enter production in Mississippi this week. In his directorial debut about part-time assistant deputy director Toby Sobby Sawyer (Nicholson), he is tasked with protecting the body (Macy) until Coroner arrives. When the body goes missing, he unconsciously reveals decades of wrongdoing, putting his life at risk to unleash the town’s deep web of corruption.
Billy Lourdes, Devon Ross and Colleen Camp joined the cast and production began this week in Mississippi. Narcos and Griselda Co-creator Carlo Bernard adapted the script for a novel by Victor Gishler of the same name.
