New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said on August 4 that he is “exploring all the options” to redraw the state’s Capitol, responding to a mid-term re-drawing of Desed, which could turn a mid-term housesheet from the Texas Republican midterm housesheet into the GOP.
“If Republicans are willing to rewrite these rules to give them advantages, they don’t leave us with options. We have to do the same,” the Democrat said at a press conference in Albany.
