At least six people were killed and 26 people were injured overnight after suspected US airstrikes near Yemen’s rebel capital, Hoosis claimed on Monday that he shot down another American MQ-9 Reaper drone.

The latest strike comes as Houthis intensifies over a US campaign’s attack on transport in Middle Eastern waters.

The US military’s central commander refused to admit the strike. With approval from the White House, central headquarters can now run strikes whenever they need it during the campaign.

More than 120 people have been killed since the Trump administration launched an onslaught almost a month ago, according to health officials run by Houthi. The number of deaths could not be independently verified.

Washington launched a new airstrike campaign in mid-March after rebels threatened to target “Israel” ships once again, as they say, a show of support for the Palestinians in Gaza.

Oppositional anti-Americans and anti-Israel rebels broadly define what constitutes Israeli ships.

Houthis has so far attacked more than 100 merchant ships with missiles, drones and speedboat intrusions. The attack killed four sailors and sank the attack from November 2023 until January this year.

The US has accused Iran of arming rebels, which the Tehran regime has denied. However, despite the UN arms embargo, Iranian weapons have been found on the battlefield and on the seas heading towards Yemen.

The White House says there have been more than 200 strikes against the rebels so far.
