In 2024, the Los Angeles Rams finished season 10-7. They overcame a 1-4 start of the season, making it 9-3 in their final 12 games. The 10-7 record was enough to win the NFC West.
Los Angeles defeated the Vikings 27-9 in the wild card round, losing 28-22 to the Eagles in the division. This offseason, the Rams re-signed QB Matthew Stafford. However, they say goodbye to the former All-Pro WR Cooper Kupp. To replace him, Los Angeles signed a two-year contract with free agent WR Davante Adams.

Last season, Adams Davanate began the year with the Las Vegas Raiders. From the sixth week onwards, Adams was traded by Las Vegas and reunited with former QB Aaron Rodgers. Adams played the final 11 games of the 2024 season with the New York Jets. He had 67 catches and seven touchdowns for 854 yards. Neither Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams were part of the Jets’ plans.
Both were released this offseason. Rogers is still trying to find a home for 2025. However, Davante Adams found his next landing spot. He is heading west towards Will Again a Will the Rams in 2025. Adams will replace the Rams WR Couppap, which will be released when the new league year officially begins. The 2025 season is Adams’ 12th season in the NFL.
He has not finished in more than 1,000 receiving yards since 2019, when he finished with 997. From 2020 to 2022, Adams was the first team all-progression for the third year in a row. Since then, he has struggled with the same type of production. The 32-year-old can become an effective player for the Rams next season. Cooper Kupp is WR1 and Adams is a great WR2 option. Last season I saw something similar to Adams and Garrett Wilson in New York. Having a veteran QB like Stafford should do something that Adams seamlessly adjusts the Rams.
