Kill floor 3 It’s around the corner and you can try it out now. Developer Tripwire Interactive holds the KF3 stress test for a very limited time as the team aims to close the hole before launch. After an incredibly rocky beta and delay, Tripwire has significantly improved the experience, so we hope this new test is far better.
Earlier this year, Tripwire Interactive held a beta test to kill Floor 3. However, this version of the game didn’t work well with the players. The first two killing floor games are some of the most loved and best zombie games, so it’s safe to say this was a very disappointing.
As a result, Tripwire told players it was building a “detailed action plan” for the game. The studio then delayed the game indefinitely and then settled down on a new boot day, which was nearby.
“With full support from the parent company Embracer Group, we are working with the Timeline to address many of the common issues during the beta, including performance/stability, UI/UX, lighting, weapons feel,” Tripwire wrote when delaying the game.
Currently, developers are confirming that they will hold a very short killing floor 3 stress test before launch. “For this multiplayer stress test, we ask participants not to stream or record. This test is designed to ensure that the multiplayer environment remains as stable as possible at launch. We hope to open this test on other platforms next week.”
But once stress testing and releases are gone, Tripwire says there are plenty of post-release plans. One will continue to implement feedback that the team could not enter day one. This includes allowing Dightfall Specialists (characters) to select any perks, enhance third-person animation for movements and weapons, and make text work for communication within the server.
The Killing Floor 3 Stress Test will be run twice separately on Sunday, July 13th. The first is 2 hours from ET/1pm (ET/6pm) BST from 10am, and the second lasts for 2 hours, running from 2pm Pt/5pm ET/10pm BST. To get the chance to access, head to Steam and click the (Request Access) button.
As testing is imminent, check the killing floor 3 system requirements for the rig. Otherwise, play some of the best FPS games on your PC today.
