BOSTON – A federal judge heard debate on June 16 about whether to issue a more permanent block on the Trump administration’s attempt to stop the flow of foreign students to Harvard University.
The hearing is the latest in a series of conflicts between President Donald Trump and what he calls schools, with a lack of dealing with anti-Semitism and a foreign entanglement that threatens national security. Harvard says Trump is using foreign students as pawns for what he says is a broader unconstitutional attack on schools and their academic freedom.
