Lawmakers Renew Security Concerns Over GenScript Biotechnology’s Alleged CCP Ties

Lawmakers raised concerns again in a July 8 letter to the directors of the FBI and Natentional Intelligence News about GenScript Biotechnology’s work with US companies, citing Genscript’s ties with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-Ill.) and John Moolenaar (R-Mich.) are ranking members and chair of the House Selection Committee on Strategic Competition between the US and CCP, respectively, requesting updates on intelligence and law enforcement information regarding GenScript and its affiliates.
