A man armed with a syringe sprayed a mysterious liquid on Representative Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) during a meeting in Minneapolis on Tuesday. Cheers erupted from the crowd as spectators tackled and restrained him. he was arrested.
The incident comes after Omar called for disbanding U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and called for the resignation of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.
