Facebook’s parent company, Meta Platforms, announced on August 26 that it will launch a new Political Action Committee (PAC) in California, regardless of party affiliation that supports AI innovation and supports more generous stance on regulation.
The technology giant has begun mobilization beyond California’s Super Pack (META). This would support candidates from state offices who support AI development over strict regulations, a Meta spokesperson told the Epoch Times.
