On Monday, Miami’s heat was on the verge of elimination. They just lost 37 points to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round series in Game 3.
Hot lost 55 points with no chances in Game 4 and the Cavaliers. In the series, they were outscored with 122 and 92 points in total for games 3 and 4. After an embarrassing loss, Bam Adebayo spoke to the media. He said there will be “a lot of changes” this offseason. Adebayo mentioned that Pat Riley is the person who will make the decision in Miami.

Erik Spoelstra was Heat’s head coach for 17 seasons. Miami won the postseason in 14 of these 17 seasons. The Heat made the playoffs in six consecutive postseasons. However, the 2025 playoffs should be forgotten. The same can be said for the regular season of 2024-25. Miami was wiped out by the first round series vs. the Cavaliers.

Without Butler, the heat struggled in the second half of 2024-25. This included 10 consecutive games of losing. If Bam Adebayo thinks changes will occur this summer, Pat Riley could do so too. The Miami roster could be made for serious rebuilding after an embarrassing performance in the 2025 postseason.
