WASHINGTON – On August 14, California Gov. Gavin Newsom called for a special election to approve a map of the state legislature that was redrawn in a rezoning of the fight against Texas.

“We have maps on the votes and empower people,” he said at an event in Los Angeles. The vote will take place on November 4th, he said.
