If you could book a flight to anywhere in the world, where would you go? Now let your imagination take you anywhere. I would choose Rivendell. I can’t imagine how invigorating it would be to go and relax with Elrond and his friends for the weekend. Listening to gentle harp music while eating fine cuisine will make you forget the stress of the weekday. Well, you can do that now. of seeds. Hit Transport Sim Slash Strategy Game world wide rush added mod support in its latest update. It’s only a matter of time before someone adds my dream destination to a down-to-earth simulation.
Worldwide Rush created a buzz upon release with its unique combination of Microsoft Flight Sim-style route planning and Europa Universalis 4’s 4X strategy. It was a convincing pitch, and fans of both genres quickly fell in love with the game. Almost six months after release, developer Memel Games has finally added mod support, which will be critical to the sim’s future success.
In this respect, mods are the lifeblood of strategy games. Simulators like this thrive on fan support, from texture packs to completely new mechanics. We have an entire page dedicated to the best mods for Cities Skylines 2, and I fully expect Worldwide Rush to follow a similar path.
Judging by reviews on Steam, we can already imagine mods coming out that tweak the game’s UI and AI systems, such as adding fees to other companies that use the truck or limiting the number of routes into the city to ease congestion. I’m sure adding mythical cities will be the next priority for dedicated modders as soon as these issues are resolved.

Similar to my dream city mod, Memel Games has listed specific areas where they have added mod support. You can now change the in-game rules, currency, sprites, textures, vehicle company, vehicle type, vehicle graphics, play region, built roads, built rails, and sea routes in the game. We’ve also added the ability to browse and edit mods, as well as an integrated Steam Workshop, so you can find mods that way.
Depending on the exact ability to change in-game rules, there’s not much else I’d like to be able to add mods to in Worldwide Rush. If it can streamline the game’s AI, modders should be able to fix its worst problems and make some fun changes in the meantime. Now let’s add the flight path from the Shire to Mordor. This should make Frodo’s journey a little easier.
