Outspoken Advocate for Free Markets Heads to Brussels as US Ambassador to EU

At the White House ceremony on August 20th, Andrew Puzder, former CEO of CKE Restaurant, was sworn by President Donald Trump as the new ambassador for the US European Union.

Puzdar, an outspoken critic of the application of corporate politicization, environmental, social and governance (ESG) frameworks, and the ideological impact of global asset managers on US companies, was confirmed on August 2nd for his Senate-based position. The votes ranged from 53 to 44.
