Palestinian film streaming platform Watermelon+ to launch worldwide

Exclusive: Production and distribution company Watermelon Pictures launches Watermelon+, a streaming service that introduces Palestinian and global films.

Watermelon+ will be available to subscribers around the world from May 8th, with original productions, new releases and series along with classic titles. The subscription price is $7.99 a month or $79.99 a year.

It was launched last year with the aim of “providing a powerful and entertaining storyline, amplifying bold voices from a marginalized and underrated community,” according to the Watermelon Pictures team.

The company was founded by CO-CEOS and Brothers Badie Ali and Hamza Ali. as creative director with Alana Hadid, sister to Supermodels Bella and Gigi Hadid.
