It’s always heartbreaking to see promising new multiplayer games being discarded, but it’s still sad to see them close out the development before they fully launch. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened Battle Ace – The RTS game, which aims to provide a Super First 1V1 and 2v2 match, still boasts sufficient strategic depth. Despite its promising premise and the fact that it has previous Starcraft developments as a game director, Battle Ace has reached the end of its journey.

Battle Aces, the debut project of Uncapped Games, has generated many initial interest among RTS gaming enthusiasts. First, David Kim was at the helm. This is a Blizzard veteran who served as a senior game designer for Starcraft 2 for about 10 years. Second, it was intended to break new ground compared to more accessible, quicker multiplayer matches and longer throws that can often be caught up in. However, Uncapped says it cannot see successful routes due to its ambitious project.

“Today, with deep regret, we are announcing that the development of Battle Ace is nearing the end,” a statement posted by an undecided reading. “The creation of Battle Ace is extremely rewarding and we appreciate the passion and support from the community. Unfortunately, the returns from early testing were not strong enough to support ongoing development.

“This decision was not underestimated. Battle Ace represents a bold vision. It is an attempt to rethink the real-time strategy of a new generation. We set out to create something fast, tactical and friendly to make RTS special.

The statement did not mention what the studio’s future will be. My fear is that if there is not enough funding to spin up a new post-ace project after the battle, the layoffs could continue. If so, we may see a new strategy game from Kim and the team in the future.

It’s really a shame that Battle Aces doesn’t even shoot in early access, but in a world where ambitious, big-budget multiplayer games are quickly no longer adopted after launch, this simply seems to reduce losses and not take away gambling. However, there are still plenty of great free PC games that you can enjoy right now and have bright futures for the future.
