More than a dozen Republican-led states are calling on legislatures to ban the so-called abortion shield laws.
In a letter to both chambers of congressional leaders on July 29, Republican attorney generals of 15 states described the law as a humiliation to federalism and a challenge to the Supreme Court’s DOBBS ruling.
