Nick Reiner, the son of film director Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle Singer Reiner, has been arrested and taken into custody after the couple was found dead in their Los Angeles home.
According to local police, 32-year-old Nick Reiner was “booked on suspicion of murder” and arrested on Sunday night, December 15th.
His bail was set at $4 million and he was arraigned today.
Officials told NBC that the couple died from stab wounds.
Nick Reiner wrote the script for the 2016 drama being charliea film directed by his father about a teenager with addiction issues and loosely based on his life.
Reiner has directed many classic films including: This Is Spinal Tap, The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, A Few Good Men and Stay by my side He also appeared in titles such as. wolf of wall street. He also co-founded the production company Castle Rock Entertainment.
