Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif) has set up a legal defense fund as he faces new scrutiny under the Trump administration, his office confirmed this week.

The fund, officially registered with the IRS on August 14th, is listed as Senator Schiff’s Legal Defense Fund, describing its purpose as “the Legal Fund for Senator Schiff.” Trustee Stephen Mail is named in a filing that provides a mailing address in Washington, DC.
