The US federal government unfairly targeted him, and claiming that his belief was “unconstitutional” and unprecedented, Sean “Diddy” Combs asked the judge to either acquit him or give him a retrial in a 62-page memorandum. He has not been declared yet.

Combs, 55, was convicted of two transports engaged in prostitution earlier this month, but was acquitted of conspiracy to assault and more serious charges of sex trafficking.

The hip-hop mogul has been in prison since his arrest in September 2024 and is scheduled to be sentenced in October. On Tuesday, July 29th, his lawyer filed a new request for his release on a $50 million bond prior to the hearing.

“I portrayed him as a monster.”

In the new submission, Combs’ defense team said the US government had “portrayed him as a monster” since its arrest, but his two-month trial allegedly showed “an allegation of multiple women in assault companies and sex trafficking for 20 years.

The submission also states that, under his circumstances, the only person in America to be convicted under Mann Act, and that his lawyers argue that if he is accused of two transport charges of engaging in prostitution, his trial is completely different and evidence of violence was presented to the ju judge.

“This conviction is sole, but should not stand at all,” Combs lawyer Alexandra Shapiro wrote in the memorandum. According to To CNN.

“Since the government arrested Sean Combs last September, he portrayed him as a monster. For months, prosecutors accused him of running a 20-year assault company and sex trafficking multiple women,” Filing said. “However, his two-month trial showed that these charges were not supported by credible evidence, and the ry judge rejected them.”

Only one person has been found guilty under the Mann Act

“Mr. Combs is currently convicted of only two prostitution numbers that do not require evidence of coercion, threat, or fraud. The government has told the ju judge that as long as Combs’ longtime girlfriend or paid male escort or entertainer travels together across the state line and convicted the judge.

Combs’ defense attorney argued that “he had no commercial motivation and that all involved were adults is uncontroversial,” adding that “the man chose to act spontaneously.”

“To our knowledge, Combs is the only person convicted of violating the law for such conduct,” Filing said.

“Shawn Combs sits in prison on evidence that he paid to the escorts and entertainers of adult males who engaged in sexual activities agreed with his ex-girlfriend. “It’s not prostitution. If so, his belief is unconstitutional.”

You might be in prison within five years

The Combs team claims that the “freak-off” videos (some of which have been viewed multiple times by ju-describers) are “amateur porn” rather than evidence of forced or prostitution.

Combs’ ruling is scheduled for October 3rd. Comb faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, but it is very unlikely that he will receive the biggest punishment, New York Times I wrote it.

However, prosecutors previously said their preliminary calculations should be that in prison with two convictions, the comb should win at least 51-63 months, or about four-5 years. Meanwhile, defense suggested a range of 21-27 months.
