Exclusive: Tarik Saleh’s Cannes Competition Title Eagles of the Republic Acquired by Curzon for the UK-Irish release from Playtime.

This is the final article in the Swedish-Egypt Saleh Cairo trilogy, with fare fare playing Egypt’s most beloved actor. He reluctantly accepts the role, and is thrown into the inner circle of power, where he begins a relationship with the mysterious wife of the general who directs the film.
