for Diablo 4 Players have been a rather difficult drug to swallow the news that no new expansions will take place this year. However, Blizzard may have simply laxed the deal as the roadmap for 2025 and beyond has been revealed. Looking at the themes of the next three seasons of the RPG and some of the key content they contain, you will also bully the arrival of frequently requested leaderboard features, not until the next year.
Diablo 4 already kicks off the year powerfully with magic-themed season 7, but with the release date of Diablo 4 Season 8 round the corner, Blizzard laid out some of the big additions. With the theme of Belial’s Return, we will introduce the power of the boss, following the power of the witch and the power of the bloodsucking power from the previous season. It also includes a new activity called Apprition Incursion. It includes a 2nd anniversary celebration (perhaps as an event of some kind) and a new crossover with the well-known IP. If I were a bettor, I think it was the fate of the Dark Ages, but I’ll have time to decide if that theory is correct!
In addition to the limited time and seasonal things, new hideaway bosses have been added, giving you the entire experience only once. As suggested earlier this year, the RPG’s Battle Pass system has also been reworked into a new Holy House system.
Moving on to Season 9, known as Sin of Horadrim, the focus is naturally on Diablo’s ancient magical order. You have access to Horadric powers, so expect every class to get a bit of a magical makeover. This season, we will be offering new Nightmare Dungeon activities, bringing keyboard and mouse support to the console player, bringing you a little closer to the PC experience.
Hell’s Chaos is the theme of Season 10 and concludes 2025. The power of Chaos has been added to the Armory, and Diablo 4’s excellent Loglique Mode Infernal Holder has gotten a big update. Like Season 8, another new IP collaboration will also be coming.
Then, to bully what’s coming in 2026, Blizzard, of course, says new expansions will decline, and a new ranking system is approaching. But the big revelation here is that the official leaderboard is in work and will arrive next year. It’s a bit disappointing that it hasn’t arrived in 2025, but at least it’s actually under development.
So, there are no new expansions this year, but that’s a decent amount to get excited. Until Season 8 arrives, check out the best games like Diablo. Alternatively, you can be excited about some of the upcoming PC games that will arrive in 2025 and beyond.
