‘The Amazing Maurice’ producer signs first-look feature deal with ReDefine Originals

British production company Cantilever Media is partnering with international VFX and animation company Redefine Originals to redefine in a first look co-production agreement for animated feature films for children and family markets.

The two companies will bring projects into a combined venture with the aim of creating two to three features a year over the first three years.

Redefine will become the project’s studio, produced by Cantilever Media, and Cantilever’s distribution company Kazoo Films will win the UK rights.

Redefine Originals is owned by British and Indian VFX giant DNEG, with fellow DNEG Group Company Prime Focus Studios serving as co-production partners at feature slate.

Cantilever and Redefine are already collaborating with animation features bollywoof For Sky Cinema on Newscope Films, it was released in the 2027 quarter.
