Europe celebrates its flag:
How does the Commission website say, explicitly and in contrast to some flags, “the ideal of unity, solidarity and harmony among the European people,” in contrast to those representing member states and units.
In 1983, towards the end of the first parliamentary tail as a directly elected legislative body, the European Parliament decided to adopt it as a symbol of what we now know as the EU, but at the time it was still known as the European community.
Two years later, the Council of Europe, representatives of the 10 member states at the time, approved the decision, and by 1986 Portugal and Spain had joined. This is officially called a flag called “logo”, and was widely used by communities and member states, such as in official buildings, to avoid the strong national meaning.
But that’s not where the story of the flag begins. country I’m struggling to achieve them.
The design ideas floated for the flag of Unity Europe, even before World War II, and in the aftermath of it, of course, became even more. They reached a painstaking statistical analysis by the citizens of Strasbourg, from green crosses on white backgrounds to the opposite green crosses, to white triangles on various backgrounds, and even all colour combinations of all European flags in five fields.
Neither was adopted, but in 1953, the now familiar flag was first proposed by members of the Council of Europe. The entire institution adopted it in December 1955.
Therefore, you can celebrate another round birthday later this year.
