The dying light 2 Even if it’s not at its original height, it’s one of the most entertaining horror titles in recent years. Now, with sequels falling in 2025, developer Techland has rolled out a massive new update, significantly reducing the price of the game on Steam.
Techland is working on the sequel Dying Light: The Beast, but the developers haven’t forgotten about Dying Light 2 and have released a massive update to this Parkour Heavy Zombie game.
With the Spring Update in Dying Light 2, the game’s Roguelite Tower mode gives a serious boost and adds a wealth of 27 new weapons. There are also many new rewards, and you can also adjust the UI to make it easier to find and claim those rewards.
This update provides a major overhaul in cooperative mode, so it’s better to handle player synchronization and delay issues. This update has also been added to visual mods, allowing you to easily change the texture of your weapons and clothing. Bonus points go to the first person to turn dying Wilder from Light 2 into a pastel nightmare.
It also crushes many bugs, such as “…Volatile matter issues can teleport between the ground and higher surfaces.” Lucio Fulci’s Living Dead city featured teleporting zombies, but it’s not something you’d like to encounter in-game.
If you already own a Dying Light 2, that’s a good reason to come back. But if not, it’s time to buy as it’s 67% off on Steam and costs $19.79/£18.14. The offer ends on April 28th, so hurry.
The sequel Dising Light: The Beast arrives this year and places you in the infected shoes of the original protagonist Kyle Crane. However, we will have to wait for Techland to share more specific release dates than in 2025.
