aokzoe We have revealed the A1X, the latest handheld gaming PC that utilizes the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. It also comes with an 8-inch VRR display and a huge 72.7Wh battery for extended play sessions.

On paper, the Aokzoe A1X will be one of the best handheld gaming PCs, especially when you can make the most of the AMD Ryzen AI chip, like the Ayaneo 3.

The Aokzoe A1X was released via Kickstarter on April 17, 2025, and four models are available for purchase.

Model specification Early Bird Price (24 hours) MSRP
aokzoe a1x AMD 8840U, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD $799 $839
aokzoe a1x AMD Ryzen AI HX 370, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD $1,059 $1,159
aokzoe a1x AMD Ryzen AI HX 370, 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD $1,099 $1,199

The A1X has an 8-inch, 1,920 x 1,200, and 120Hz VRR landscape display, located in the high-end of the currently available screen sizes in handheld. It also has a 72.7Wh battery, comparable to the 80Wh battery on the Rog Ally X and MSI Claw 8 Ai+, but based on 80Wh handheld testing, you can expect a few hours of gaming time at mid- to low TDP settings.

The AMD Ryzen AI HX 370 is also a trial and error portable CPU that already powers the Ayaneo 3 and OneXfly F1 Pro. The chip uses Radeon 890m graphics and can run some of the latest releases with decent frame rate settings.

In memory and storage, the A1X uses up to 64GB of dual-channel RAM, using a PCIE 4.0 SSD with capacity up to 2TB and LPDDR5X-7500. Use the AMD software adrenaline edition to split this memory between the system and graphics to increase the available VRAM.
