The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) will expand the TIFF Primetime Series category from 10 screenings to approximately 14 screenings for the 2026 edition (September 10-20, 2026).
The move represents an approximately 40% increase in sections started in 2015. This coincides with the launch of TIFF: The Market (September 10-16, 2026), TIFF’s official content market designed to support film, television, new media, and Canadian creators.
