Tiger Aspect Productions executive Helen Wright has joined the London Film School (LFS) as chief operating officer.

For the past decade, Wright has played the role of COO in the UK Peaky blinds The side of the production company Tiger. She is also an executive at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (Lambda).

Wright’s appointment forms a key part of the plan to further strengthen the school’s partnership with the screen industry, according to a statement from LFS.

She takes over from Rod Jones, who was the interim COO. Dan Lawson previously held the Post from 2018 to 2023.

“As COO, Helen will lead the school’s operational strategy, oversee core management functions, and work closely with the senior leadership team to support the school’s academic and creative missions.” “Helen is pleased that after Rod Jones has masterfully filled his interim position, she is on the team to lead us.”

“LFS has a rich heritage that nurtures filmmakers around the world. We are excited to help shape the next chapter, building that legacy while expanding the reach, relevance and impact of today’s rapidly changing screen industry,” Wright added.
