Treasury Announces Sanctions on Tren de Aragua Leader

The US Treasury announced sanctions on Tren de Lagua’s leader Giovanni Vicente Mosquera Serrano on June 24th as the federal government continues to crack down on the activities of terrorist organizations in the United States.

“Mosquera Serrano oversaw drug trafficking efforts and murder on behalf of Colombian gangs,” a spokesman for the Treasury Department said in an email. “Mosquera Serrano will be responsible for further Frightor’s efforts on behalf of Tren de Aragua, managing the financial revenues of gang criminal activities.”
