Two Warhammer 40K Strategy Games are about to be registered in steam. This means that you only have 24 hours left to bill on the valve platform. Publisher Slitherine is taking it Warhammer 40K Armageddon and Warhammer 40K Thanks Reach On sale on Steam on Monday, May 19th. The good news is that if you want to pick them up at that point, you can hook the former with a huge 90% discount.

The Warhammer 40K Armageddon follows the various Space Marines from several chapters in the battle between the Imperial Army of the Arksondon Steel Legion and the Orks trying to invade the world of the same name. Turn-based strategy games employ a HEX grid, giving them a more distinctive feel similar to the kind of civilised combat. In 2014, Fraser praised “focus and simplicity” in the Warhammer 40K Armageddon Review.

Meanwhile, the Warhammer 40K Sanctus Reach allows you to step on either side in an honorary battle. Offering two independent story campaigns, you can play as a space wolf or an orcgoff. This includes 30 units on each side, including well-known heroes such as Krom Dragongaze, Logan Grimnar, and Grukk Facerippa. It also has the ability to play Skirmish mode and multiplayer.

Unfortunately, Slitherine has confirmed that both Armageddon and Sanctus Reach have been removed from sales on Steam, along with all DLC since Monday, May 19th. Please note that even if you already own both games, you can still play them after this date. Although not directly mentioned, this may involve deletion. Both it and the original game offer 90% savings on steam sales.

Slitherine also said, “This is not the end of the battle.” The game will be available for purchase via GOG. Here you can currently get Sanctus Reach with an 80% discount, but Armageddon and Da Orks are available for 70% off.

Statement from Slitherine: "Greetings, Commander, We would like to inform you that the Sanctus Reach franchise will be removed from Steam soon. Starting May 19th, the game and its DLC will no longer be available for purchase on this platform. But this is not the end of the battle! Sanctus Reach is still available at GOG.com. Here you can fully purchase and enjoy the Franchise DRM-Free. If you've already purchased the game on Steam, don't worry. It will remain in the library. You can download and play as usual. Thank you for your continued support"

The Warhammer 40K Armageddon will be 90% off from sale until 10am on Monday, May 19th (ET/1pm ET/6pm BST/7pm Sesto) from sale to delisting. The Warhammer 40K Sanctus Reach will be removed from the Steam Store at the same time. If you want to grab a copy while you can still do it, head over here.
