UK mystery thriller ‘Black Church Bay’ starring Tom Cullen and Joe Locke wraps Wales shoot

Exclusive: UK – Irish writer-director Rhys Marc Jones’ feature debut Black Church Bay, With Tom Cullen, the lead actor Heart StopperJoelock concluded the filming in Anglesey, North Wales.

The mystery thriller was produced by Alex Pornin of Scotland-based Ossian International and Tristan Gollier, a London-based station, with the station’s sales handling international rights. Karen previously appeared in Andrew Hay’s 2011 film weekend, Produced by Goligher.

Black Church Bay It’s about a man who explores the length of time someone goes to hide his true self after an intimate encounter with a young man. The cast also includes Marli Siu and Rakie Ayola.

The film was developed on the Cinéfondation Résidence of the BBC film Ifetures and Cannes. Production investors are BBC films, FFILM CYMRU Wales, which awards National Lottery Funding and Screen Scotland, British Black Heron, Elephant Music, Camila Serveva, Plus Brazil-based Daniel State, Screen Scotland, Screen Scotland and Screen Scotland.
