Exclusive: UK producer Ian Davies has left documentary expert Noah Media Group and rebooted the initialization of Films, a production and financial company originally founded in 2005.
Iniveryize has a background in the production, fundraising and packaging of documentary and fiction feature films. Previous titles include Carol Morley Falling, Starring Florence Pugh, Maisie Williams and Jan Demange thriller71 Starring Jack O’Connell.

Davis plans to launch a fund entitled Trailblazers later this year, recognizing interest from the private sector in backing films. He previously co-created Boudica, a women-led film production and finance house.
“Like most film funds, this is primarily a senior debt, but we hope there will be gaps and development allocations,” Davis said. The fund aims to have around £1 million a year to support the six films and is scheduled to open for submissions starting in November 2025.
He will board two projects as Cannes co-producer and hopes Ari Matikainen’s Feature Doc will produce six to eight movies with initialization. Chaos GameFinnish film expert Kinocompany and Estonian production company Traumfabrik have been fighting about an opaque war, supported by the Finnish Film Foundation, Estonian Film Foundation and YLE. Vala Ómarsdóttir’s fiction features Just a childwith producer Hlin Johannesdottir, supported by Icelandic film centre.
Noah Media Group, a senior producer of British costume films from 2022-25, produced the SXSW premiere I’m Carl Lewis! and Snow Leopard Sisters, Tribeca Title Checkpoint Zoo aND co-produced boxing documentary Hatton For the sky.
“I’m happy to be able to regain the reins once they’ve initialized,” Davis said. “There are some great international co-production opportunities and the new IFTC (Independent Film Tax Credit) is a game changer for many private investors.
“Our strength lies in many international contacts built over 20 years after working with several national film funds as consultants. Co-production is at the heart of our business model.”
Davies has signed a further co-production agreement with British production company PerfectMotion, producer of Thessaloniki Premiere, at Sheffield Dock Fest It’s away from the railabout director Rob Alexander’s untitled racing driver documentary project, which is at the final stages of filming.
“We’ve got two or three more sports films this year,” Davis said. Carl Lewis! , Hatton And David Mirror Cycling Document, Time trial. “The production of sports films is a very busy market, but there are still many great stories to be told. Naturally, the archive’s rights holders are keen to tell those stories as well.”
