Underrated John Wick RTS game is about to disappear from steam forever

Not all games will immediately gain viewers. Many classics were not commercially successful or critically ridden when they first arrived. John Wick Hex It was one such game, a smooth and exciting tactical snack, and it was a pleasant small offering. However, it will disappear completely from the storefront.

For those unfamiliar, John Wick Hex uses a combination of real-time and turn-based strategies. Instead of a set turn, each action is associated with a specific time. Of course, you can sprint through that room in one “turn” but you’ll be in multiple rounds of firefights. You need to timing your reload and brawl to create opportunities and prevent injuries. Like the best RTS games, survival requires both quick thinking and careful strategies.

John Wick Hex was developed in collaboration with the team behind the film. Lance Redick and Ian McShane both recreate their roles. The game is drenched in the same refined neon hues that define John Wick’s visual language.

However, John Wick Hex will soon be no longer available for purchase in store. The publisher’s big fan game has released the following statement:

John Wick Hex will be removed from sale on all platforms from July 17, 2025.

From July 17, 2025, existing John Wick Hex owners will be able to access the game via their digital library (PC/console) and/or physical copy (console), but new John Wick Hex purchases are not possible regardless of platform or storefront. ”

That leads to speculation as the statement doesn’t explain in detail why they’re removing the game.
