On August 8, Armenia and Azerbaijan signed a joint declaration of US support aimed at ending decades of conflict between the two South Caucasian countries.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, hosted by US President Donald Trump at the White House, have also signed a second agreement that paved the way for the regional transport corridors of US development.
