US Demands Concrete Results From Mexico on Border Security, Fentanyl

The United States says incremental improvements are not enough to slow the flow of deadly fentanyl into American society and is pressuring Mexico to expedite its crackdown on drug cartels.

The directive was issued during a phone call Thursday between U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Mexican Foreign Minister Juan Ramon de la Fuente as part of a series of high-level talks aimed at strengthening bilateral security efforts.
